Ski touring in Trentino: the essence of mountain in winter

Silence and traquillity, surrounded by fresh snow, immaculate and untouched.

Far away from the crowd of the ski resorts, with ski touring you will find true contact with the mountain. Waiting for you there are routes into the woods and through lonely valleys to reach the peaks, and from the top the scenery is extraordinary.

Those of you who come from slope skiing will fall in love with it.

For sure, it needs a minimum of physical preparation for the climb and a technical ski base to go down, but the effort is rewarded by the untouched nature and the magical landscapes of the mountains in winter.

Ski touring is an activity you practise on skis but with free heels. You climb using
the synthetic skins of seal applied under the skis that allow us to move forward without slipping. Before descending we remove the skins, lock down the heels and we ski off the track down to the valley.

On request I organise escorted days and basic or advanced courses near Lake Garda, in the Dolomites or on Mont Blanc. Courses start from January, during weekends or divided into several outings from three to five days. The safety equipment (Artva, shovel and probe) is provided by me, if you do not have it already.

We need to know where to pass and we need to know the snow and the mountain. I put my knowledge and my experience at your disposal, for excursions together, nice and safe.
